Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collection from suppliers and patients when necessary.
- Deliveries to Sleep Labs, Suppliers, and hospitals.
- Ensuring that General office maintenance is performed on a regular basis and when necessary.
- Daily reconciliation of stock signed out of the storeroom
- Uploading of POD’s and completing sales opportunities daily for all departments.
- Picking and packing of customer orders and IBT’s
- Placing of stock orders with head office
- Receiving and dispatching of orders and deliveries
- Assisting the Technical and Branch Stock Controller when necessary
- Covering the position of Technical and Branch Stock Controller when they are on leave or absent following the same procedure they do.
- Performs clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and collating on request from line manager.
- Keep work area neat and clean.
- Ensuring that procedures and Policies are understood and followed. Please see Company Policy and Procedures.
- Ensuring open communication between relevant departments, branches, and clients.

Qualifications and competency criteria
- Essential: Grade 12 pass
- Job specific in-service training to understand customer needs, and associated products
- Proficiency will be determined by both theory test results and practical assessments
- Periodic assessments and performance evaluations to assess ongoing competency.
Experience
- Experience in hands-on work, such as assembling, installing, or repairing mechanical or electrical components, is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite
- Previous maintenance/repair experience of medical equipment beneficial
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Code B drivers’ license (manual)
- Own reliable transportation
- Aptitude for continuous learning
- Well organised and have a systematic approach to problem solving
- Attention to detail, quality, and accuracy
- Deadline Driven
- Performs well under pressure
- Ability to work independently without supervision with the ability to take initiative and be proactive.
