Reporting to the Business Development Manager
Stakeholder Engagement:
The strategic management of relationships with internal teams and external partners to optimize user growth, maximize marketing ROS, and align acquisition campaigns with overall business goals. Because customer acquisition sits at the intersection of marketing, solution selling, and sales, a CAM cannot operate in a silo. They rely heavily on stakeholder collaboration to smoothly guide potential buyers through the acquisition funnel.
Key Performance Areas:
The primary role of the Customer Acquisition Manager-Projects is to increase sales by effectively planning and executing face-to-face sales activities with predominately new potential Project type customers
1. Sales
- Plan and execute sales activities in line with KPI’s and sales objectives- 20-day planner
- Plan and manage personal business portfolio that contributes to the company brand image and vision.
- Respond to and follow up sales enquiries to secure projects and pipeline.
- Identify and utilise opportunities for cross-selling including communicating latest product development.
- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
- Attend training and develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
- Send quotations using correct pricing in accordance with Company policy.
- Conduct sales activities using available tools and resources such as provided marketing material, client database, exhibitions and industry-related event
Customer Relationship Management:
- Maintain and develop business relationships with existing and new customers.
- Optimise quality of relationship, service and customer satisfaction by proactively engaging clients on a face-to-face basis.
- Research clients, industry and market to determine potential.
- Identify and assess client requirement and needs to provide best product solution.
- Attend to dissatisfied customer needs promptly and professionally.
- Regularly monitor preferences of clients
Administration:
- Create a 20-Day planner and execute activities in line with KPI’s.
- Prepare and report for meetings.
- Review sales activities and figures to identify problem areas and subsequently improve.
- Maintain up to date and organised filing/recordkeeping on CRM system
Monthly KPI's:
- As per monthly SXP Sales management tool. (Monthly One-on-One meeting)
