- The best suited candidate for this role should have a min of 5 years of experience in a similar role, the most important topics that need focus are experience in developing, planning and implementing account plans, commercial awareness and a broader understanding of macro-economic drivers. It is important that the candidate has a strong knowledge of stakeholder management and networking, exports markets and Incoterms and to demonstrate selling new concepts and products in a successful manner. In addition, proven experience of implementing change with positive impact to the business is ideal. The candidate must possess a degree in Commerce, Sales or Marketing or a relevant field.

- As a Key Accounts Manager, it is important to remember that the primary purpose is to develop and implement the account plans for the specified key accounts which should include sales, service and relationship objectives to deliver growth for both the customer and company through the engagement of both internal and external stakeholders in the exports region and within the company. In addition, the purpose of the role is to execute defined commercial strategy and deliver top line sales revenue to maximise SA consolidating customer accounts performance, in line with company objectives and strategy in congruency with destination market dynamics and strategy. The candidate will be working as part of an integrated Exports Southern Africa team to drive product propositioning from the manufacturing plants to facilitate demand generation and customer satisfaction.
