REPORTS TO : MANAGING DIRECTOR
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Annual Budgets:
Compilation of annual budgets in conjunction with Divisional Heads - Achieving or bettering the same
Sales / Marketing:
Strategies and action plans to attain and increase market share.
Organising promotions and seminars.
Allocation of existing client base between yourself and branch sales personnel as per area / market / client allocation.
Ensuring that existing client base is adequately serviced and managed.
Calling on and maintaining relationships with key customers
Expanding existing client base by identifying and sourcing new clients / markets / areas.
Planning and making sales calls in a logical and methodical manner.
Completing and submitting call plans and customer call reports and time management thereof.
Effective management of branch sales personnel to ensure that the above objectives and requirements are met; including but not limited to managing call reports, call plans and the company's Management system.
Assisting marketing to conduct market environment and competitor analysis.
Stock:
Custodianship of branch stocks.
Contributing towards stock forecasting or requirements for divisional managers.
Financial Management and control of:
Branch expenses including: - Expense claims - Petty cash - Stannic - Telephone and cell phone usage - Debtors - Order intake and back orders. - Audit Trails - Monthly and weekly sales forecasts
Other:
Management of Branch staff.
Custodianship of branch assets.
Maintaining a neat, tidy and professional work environment.
Submission of monthly branch reports
Dealing with and resolving customer complaints
Mentoring and facilitating training of staff as and when required i.e., Internal Training
Support and development of staff within the branch.
Such other duties as may be required from time to time.
