• Able to work independently and without supervision.
• Able to plan, prioritise, execute and report on sales calls.
• Able to maintain an up to date knowledge of our product range and apply said knowledge to maximise profitibility and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Able to maintain an up to date data base of operational machines and the applicable components/services.
• Able to compile and follow up on quotations.
• Able to meet/exceed agreed upon sales targets (individual, branch and country targets).
• Able to liase with BRSA key personnel for product and technical support.
• Able to liase with the local workshops and support personnel to ensure quotations are produced promtly and that reports are in line with customer requirements.
• Able to train and support local sales representative to maximize the sales of HME related products.
• Willing and able to travel.
• The candidate must have a good understanding of how the customer weighs up and compares possible solutions and services against machine operating costs, down time and budgets.
• Understand the various personnel typically employed by mines as well as the general reporting structures and roles (foremans - planners - superintendents - engineering - HOD's. etc.).
• Able to engage with the afore mentioned structures and convert/translate into our offering and best possible solutions (understand the various roles and how our products and services will be of value to them).
• Able to access and prioritise critical equipment for each customers operation and use this information to forecast required components, spares and support.
• Understand the safety systems and requirements applicable to the mining environment.
• Understand the quality and control requirements of various customers and ensure that we exceed customer expectations.
• Able to access warrantee criteria and accurately document relevant critical information.
• Able to supervise the installation of components for warrantee purposes

Matric or revelant qualification
Valid drivers license.
