The mission is to manage and supervise bulk logistics activity nationally which includes as well distribution, transportation, human and material resources.
This Job includes the direct management of:

The Bulk Logistics Manager is responsible for achieving the objectives determined by company, while ensuring IMS compliance and giving priority to Safety, Reliability and efficiency as well ensuring customer satisfaction and regulation compliance. It is expected to implement new tools, systems and methodologies.
Duties:
1. Safety / IMS =
- Ensure IMS and Safety compliance at all time as well as quality.
2. Manages bulk distribution activity
- Adapts to local condition Group policies & procedures to optimize bulk distribution to customers at the lower costs as possible in the respects of quality, safety and environment.
- Coordinates Bulk Sourcing, Dispatch & transportation nationally
- Ensures legal and conform operations in the respect of the current policies and standards,
- Ensures an efficient and profitable management of all the Company assets
3. Ensures a follow-up of the activity
- Ensures that Bulk Distribution performance objectives are consistent with staff individual ones
- Ensures data follows-up and interpretation, draws indicator trends and adjusts the actions accordingly,
- Analyzes results, takes necessary decisions to minimize costs and maximize distribution efficiency,
- Sets up and applies all regulations and IMS instructions to the Bulk Supply Chain and make sure that administrative tasks are achieved accordingly.
- Controls the transport equipments maintenance costs and optimization.
- Ensure the good implementation of transport contracts
4. Manages and develops the Bulk Distribution team
- Motivates supply chain team, sets objectives and evaluates their performance
- Evaluates global training requirements, ensures each supervised manager has plan the training according required qualification of the jobs.
- Set up and follows global and individual objectives. Proceeds to individual appraisal.
- Encourages innovation within the team in order to improve the different activities.
5. Optimizes the efficiency of the bulk distribution
- Sets the strategy, gives directions and targets, provides resources in order to help his/her team to optimize operations
- Facilitates cross-domain problem solving
- Evaluates and submits investment proposals for approval
6. Ensures appropriate customer service level delivery
- Monitors customer service level and gives directions to improve it
- Implements corrective and preventive actions to answer customer and distributors claims
- Share priorities and common action program with Sales & Marketing Director.
7. Controls and drives the proper execution of operations
- Makes use of dashboards to monitor operations and efficiency controls proper execution of given directions
- Proceeds to internal audits and follows up corrective actions
- Responsible for adequate financial controls in his/her area of responsibility
