REPORTING TO THE TECHNOLOGY MANAGER
JOB PURPOSE:
Coordinate / conduct required test work and provide results to stakeholders. Supervise team of Test Rig Assistants.
JOB FUNCTION:
Test Work:
Required materials and tools are selected and available to conduct required test work
Test work schedule is planned and communicated to relevant parties as required
Required test work is conducted as per company procedure
Technical results are prepared and communicated to the relevant parties as required
Adequate quantities of raw materials and consumables are available for test work as needed
Test rigs are inspected and maintained and improvements/repairs are completed as required
Reporting:
Test work reports are compiled with observations and comments and submitted by due date
Data is collected and verified and recorded accurately in log sheets together with mass balances as required
A record of log sheets and reports is maintained as required
Sampling:
Sample storage is managed as per company requirements
Old samples are disposed of in the correct manner as per legislative requirements
Asset Management:
Schedules and initiates maintenance and improvements on the Test Rigs as required
Overtime is reduced to a minimum
Customer Service:
Customer requests, queries and complaints are managed within SLA
Process technology is supplied with adherence to client requirements
Designated clients are visited as per schedule
Customer presentations on process equipment, operating and maintenance requirements as required
Training for clients, operators and other plant personnel as required
Supervised Team:
Company HR and disciplinary policy is adhered to
Plans, selects, develops and maintains the suitable manpower capabilities for the team
Safety & Housekeeping:
Implements the OHS Act as per standard requirements
Good housekeeping, a healthy and safe work environment and the safe use of equipment and machinery is adhered to
