REPORTING TO THE GENERAL MANAGER
JOB PURPOSE Sales and marketing of process equipment as well as technical support for commissioning, operating and maintenance of installed machines, repairs and spares. The role includes identifying of new opportunities, coaching and mentoring of junior colleagues.
JOB FUNCTION
Sales:
Quarterly and annual sales targets are met
Call reports are prepared in time and distributed to stakeholders
T&C’s and exclusions are clearly defined when quoting/tendering – where applicable
Validation of installed database of process equipment and acquisition of related process and operational data
Customer Service:
All client requests are responded to within 24 hours
Immediate action is taken on non-compliance issues
Technical input and support for quotes/tenders is provided as required
Installation, commissioning, operating and maintenance assistance is provided as required
Training for clients, operators and other plant personnel as required
Test work:
Partner with R&D in conducting test work and reviewing reports
Administration:
All expenditures are submitted in time as per company policy and management reports are prepared by due date
Commissioning/inspection check lists are prepared and reviewed as required
Marketing:
Market research is conducted in designated areas and presentations are delivered to customer as required
Quality and Safety:
Adhere to QA/QC procedures and maintain internationally accepted standards
Adhere to all safety procedures as per business and OHSA requirements
Assist in compilation and updating of operating and maintenance manuals
Team Support:
Work of Process Engineers is reviewed as required, colleagues are coached and trained as required
