(Examples of this could be auto-electricians, hydraulic pipe fabricators, mobile crane technicians etc.) Oversee the steel team supervisor by reviewing steel on and off-site movements. Analyse steel availability for proposed new jobs and identify potential shortages, ensure optimum usage of steel by reviewing the steel inventory controlled ledger. Conduct and action logistical planning in movement of plant, between yard and work sites. Arranged Steel transportation between the yard and work sites. Liaise with suppliers and procure externally hired large plant as and when required by projects.
